Life with a Smile Counselling Service, was founded in Tywyn Gwynedd in 2003, by Barbara Vasey-Martindale, a Registered Graduate Psychologist with BPS, and Accredited Counsellor of the British Association Counselling And Psychotherapy (BACP).

Barbara is friendly, approachable, caring, a experienced Therapist for Adults and Children.

Her aim is to help and support you through, whatever is causing you to feel down, giving you insight into why you are feeling this way, and helping you to gain coping skills, enabling you to learn how to create positive changes to benefit your life.

Barbara specialises in Relationship Counselling, Stress Management , Family Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Grief Counselling.

Barbara loves art and provides Art therapy and Relaxation, in her Art Studio. Also Fun workshops for children, to help them manage their emotions. Please see section : 'Sammy Stories'.
